A Afro-Caribbean band with African Batta drums.
The band has been together 4 years playing at different festivals
and cultural gatherings’.
Uncle Loui is the oldest in the band, he has more
than 50 years experience in music. He has played and recorded with
numerous famous artists: Frankie Ruiz, George Santana, Brisa band,
Freddy Montes, and with Latin jazz and Afro Cuban bands and salsa
bands.
AJ is the second in the band, he has a masters
degree in music. He has been a drummer for more than 30 years. AJ
began his career with the USMC band for 6 years. He played in the
New Word Symphony as a percussionist. AJ toured with: Prince, KC and
the Sunshine Band, Air Supply and other rock bands. With Eshumbeleke
AJ plays the Chequere and minor percussion.
Fabian is the youngest member of the band. Fabian
is also a bass player he has played with many local bands in the
Tampa Bay area. He is both a percussionist and bass player. Fabian
is an associate for Paragon Music in Hillsborough ave.
Edgar is a percussionist and timbalero from New
York City. Edgar has more than 35 years experience in Latin salsa
bands. Along with Eshumbeleke he also plays with other local bands
in Tampa bay area. Eshumebeleke gives credit to Paragon Music and
Seven Sounds Music in helping the quartet in going forward.
